OHHHH Disaster Preparedness

Social Design

The "Designer Social Innovation Action Plan" by the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI) integrates design into disaster prevention, making it part of daily life. It invites designers to collaborate with retail brands and foundations to raise public awareness, emphasizing that "design makes disaster prevention a lifestyle."

MUJI ✕ AGUA Design ✕ Mantinal Design Office

Mantinal Design Office conducted user interviews and organized data, while AGUA Design created disaster prevention materials, main visuals, and design elements. The Taiwan Disaster Prevention Industry Association helped verify the information and provide additional knowledge. The final designs were featured in MUJI’s stores, website, and launch event, facilitating interaction with both professionals and consumers. This initiative marked the beginning of the "Taiwan MUJI Disaster Prevention Year," emphasizing disaster prevention design as a key focus of the movement.
